“Murphy’s Law”

From my “Murphy’s Law” desk calendar archives thanks to Aunt Evelyn, Uncle Pipey, and cousin Nancy:

Spenser’s Laws of Data:
1. Anyone can make a decision given enough facts.
2. A good manager can make a decision without enough facts.
3. A perfect manager can operate in a perfect ignorance.
Goofy guy’s lifetime assessment of Spenser’s Laws of Data: i have observed all three laws in operation in all of my varied careers. All three types of decision makers, especially the perfect managers, always thought they had enough facts and their decisions had no flaws.
