Being wonderful, understanding Maureen, she read my post about our first Christmas Eve together, came to me, and was in the midst of the legendary laugh.

She said, “That was good.”

Then she said, to keep me in my place, “Those six whiskey sour glasses weren’t $6.99. They were $2.99.”
